The Salas 6X Yoyo jig is a yellowtail hooking machine. The shape and color of these heavy jigs creates the illusion of a fleeing baitfish from the depths. It triggers a bite from a variety of species but yellowtail off Southern California is the main reason we use these jigs.
Simply drop it down to the bottom or desired depth, put the reel in gear and bring it back at a fast but steady retrieve. If they are there, they will eat it!
