Shipping and Returns Information:

First Class USPS $4.99 Shipping Under $50. This offer is only valid in the contiguous United States.  This is a limited time offer and subject to change at any time.  Some items are not included in $4.99 shipping and if you happen to order one, we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know any additional shipping costs.  However, most of the items in our store are available for $4.99 shipping.  Orders over $50 will receive free USPS First Class shipping or Priority Shipping if the weight of the package is over 15 ounces.  Oversized or heavy items don't apply.  

If you are not completely satisfied with any item in your order, simply return it to us within 60 days of the delivery date and we will credit you for the entire amount of the item, assuming it meets the criteria below.

The following exceptions to this policy apply and do not qualify for a refund: (1) Items that have been used and cannot be resold as new; (2) items that are special ordered cannot be returned; (3) laundered clothing/gloves/hats/buffs etc. cannot be returned or exchanged; (4) electronic devices, once opened, cannot be returned and if defective or damaged must be returned by the customer directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement.

The customer is responsible for any return shipping fees and package insurance.

You are not required to obtain a return authorization number, but you must include your order number with the product(s) being sent back for return/refund.  We strongly recommend insuring the package being returned as well as obtaining a tracking number.  We will not be held responsible for returned packages that are lost or items damaged in transit by carriers.  

Products that are sold with owners manuals, operating/assembly instructions, stickers, documents or accessories of any kind must be returned with all of the accompanying items. Returns sent without these items may be rejected and returned to the customer at their cost.

We strongly recommend using the same packaging your item(s) were sent to you in, to be used for return.

 *All rods must be returned in their original packaging or similar shipping tube to protect the integrity of the rod.  If your shipping tube was damaged in transit, please notify a customer service representative.

Different Billing and Shipping Address:

If you have not ordered from us before and a different billing and shipping address is used, we will contact you and require verification that your shipping address is yours.  Verification will need to include a utility bill, drivers license, or other ID that shows the same name as indicated on the billing address.  For instance, if your name is Bill Smith, we would need the proof with a utility bill that shows Bill Smith at the shipping address.  Bill Smith would also need to be the same name that is associated with the Billing Address you supplied when making the order.  

Once you have made an order and the order has arrived at the shipping address without incident, you may then order from us and have it shipped to any address without verification.  If you have questions, feel free to contact our customer service representative and w'll help you out.

Same Day Shipping:

If you place your order before 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, we will ship your order the same day Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are not included in same day shipping and these orders will only be shipped on business days.  If there is a holiday or other acts of mother nature, your order may be delayed.  We do not ship on holidays and holidays are not considered business days.  

If you order is placed after 2:00 PST, we will ship your order on the next business day.  If you choose 2 Day Shipping and it's after 2:00 PST, you should allow 3 business days for delivery.  

We drop off all packages either with our mail carrier or we drive it to USPS or UPS and hand deliver.  No third parties are involved to make sure we give you the fastest delivery possible.  On occasion, the tracking will not show up even though we dropped it off.  Rest assured it is on the way but all delivery companies loose packages from time to time.  Please let us know if you have not received your package and we'll do our best to find it for you using the Lost Package request online at the delivery company chosen.

LOCAL DELIVERY:  

Local 1 day delivery is for customers who live in the City of Santa Clarita and are within 6 miles of Tackle Express.  The minimum order for this free service is $60.  1 day is considered 24 hours from the time the order was made.  Deliveries will be performed M-F only and not on holidays or days the retail store is closed, even if it's within 24 hours of the order placement.  Most orders are delivered between the hours of 3:00PM and 8:00PM but may occur at any time.  Orders must be made prior to 2:00PM for 1 day delivery.  If the order is made after 2:00PM, the order may be delayed for an additional 24 hours but we will try hard to get it to you sooner.

If you have an item you need to return, please contact us via email or phone within 30 days of the purchase date and we will be happy to assist you.  Tackle Express will send you a return shipping label to which you can affix to the package.  Rods that need to be returned will require an additional charge depending on the length of the rod.  Please do not print your own label and return the item without contacting us first.  The return item must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging.  Once the item has been received by Tackle Express, we will examine it and if the item is in original unused condition, a refund will be issued right away. If your fishing rod arrives broken, you have 2 days from the date of delivery to notify us.  If your rod breaks while in use, your warranty will be with the manufacturer.  Most manufacturers have a warranty program and are very helpful.  Tackle Express will determine the best shipping method but most will be shipped USPS First Class Mail.  If the item is a fishing rod we will ship it UPS Ground. All orders* placed before 2:00PM Pacific Standard Time will be picked, packed, and shipped that same day. All International FedEx orders placed by 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will be shipped on the same day.  All orders over $50 receive free ground shipping via UPS or USPS Priority Mail, Tackle Express will determine the best method.

Notes: UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO's.

Exceptions
Due to limitations on weight and dimension assessed by the shipping companies, orders made with an extraordinary amount of weight or large dimensions may be subject to a freight charge. For Example, a large quantity of Tackle Boxes or Lead Weights, may require a freight charge. We will confirm whether or not your order needs a freight charge and can supply you with a shipping cost for your purchase.

UPS Air
When choosing UPS Air as a shipping option, depending on your location, UPS may require a signature in order to leave it at a residence. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, UPS will not leave it. Tackle Express would strongly suggest that if you choose UPS Air shipping as an option when someone is home to sign for the package or have it shipped to a business where someone is able to sign for it. Tackle Express will not be held responsible for reimbursing UPS Air shipping charges if no one is available for a signature release.
Note: All rod orders with additional items being shipped via UPS Air, may incur an increased shipping charge. The shipping charge shown when the order is submitted is subject to change. If your order needs to be shipped in two separate boxes you will be notified via e-mail. The shipping charge reflected on your order confirmation e-mail will be the correct shipping cost.

UPS Priority Overnight
When shipping UPS Priority Overnight to certain destinations, UPS does not guarantee delivery by 10:30am. Depending on the zip code and address location, some packages may not be delivered until 6pm. Unfortunately, UPS cannot provide us with zip codes where these varying delivery times apply. Please be advised that if you are in a remote destination and choose UPS Priority Overnight, the guaranteed arrival time will not apply but the next day delivery will. As a result, Tackle Express, will not be refunding for Priority Overnight deliveries made to rural areas where there is no delivery time can be guaranteed.

Back Ordered Items
After Tackle Express has sent your initial shipment of in-stock items, all outstanding back ordered items are shipped at no charge to you. If all items are out of stock when you submit your order, you are responsible for the initial shipping charge. If we receive a portion of the order we will ship those items at the original cost of shipping and the remaining back ordered items will ship at no cost to you. The method of shipping will depend on the best available option. Back ordered items will ship one of two ways,  First Class Mail or UPS Ground and is determined by Tackle Express.

General Travel Time Breakdown
With the exception of Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery, weekend days are not included in the travel time of a package. All UPS shipments offer tracking.

Priority Mail
Typical travel time is 1-5 working days regardless of destination. This shipping option is not insured but does offer a tracking service.

Golden State Overnight
Tackle Express offers Golden State Overnight to California residents, as well as some Arizona and Nevada zip codes. Golden State Overnight offers next day delivery by 6pm to all of the zip codes they accommodate (delivery time will vary depending on zip code). In addition, Golden State Overnight provides Saturday delivery to many zip codes within their coverage area. If your zip code qualifies for Golden State Overnight the website will display this shipping option, or you can call 1-661-251-8700 and one of our customer service representatives can help determine if your zip code qualifies for this shipping option. For orders under $50.00 the charge is $7.99 and orders over $50.00 this option is free.


UPS 2nd Day
As long as your order is placed before 1:30pm Pacific Standard Time Mon.-Fri. your order will ship the same day. If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Monday you should expect to receive it on Wednesday (no particular arrival time is allotted for these shipments). If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Thursday you will receive the order, guaranteed, that following Monday (weekend days not included in travel time).

FPO/APO mailing addresses: Tackle Express ships to military mailing addresses via Priority Mail only.

Express Mail
Available for orders under $200 and excludes orders with rods. Deliveries take 7-10 days. Express Mail offers a tracking system via the United States Postal Service web site www.usps.com. *This shipping method offers limited or no tracking information and is NOT insured by Tackle Express if lost or damaged.


Import Taxes
There are no U.S. taxes; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we do not know these fees. Your local post/customs office can give you this information.
If any international order is refused upon delivery for any reason, all customs & duty charges will be billed to you by Tackle Express. Once a package enters your country these charges are not reversible whether the package is delivered to you or not. Orders may be returned after receipt if there are any problems. Please be aware of all related charges when ordering.
