Looking to change the handle on your Shimano Tranx Reel?  This Shimano Tranx Power Handle is OEM and is made to fit all Tranx 300A and 400A size reels.  This handle fits the Tranx 300, 301, 300HG, 301HG, 400, 401, 400HG, 401HG.

This Shimano made handle is easy to replace, just remove your existing nut lock screw, the nut lock plate, and the chrome nut. Remove your existing handle and replace it with the new handle.  Be careful that the drag star doesn't pop off, it has a spring under it which gives it pressure from below.  Replace the parts you took off making sure not to over tighten the chrome nut. The nut lock plate might take a little adjustment so the plate nut screw lines up with the screw hole.

The paddle handle version is a double handle to give you better balance and more refined retrieves for fishing many types of lures.  The paddle handle works best when working lures or when you just don't need the larger power handle.  We find the paddle handle has better balance but not as much torque.

Perfect!

The Tranx 400 in the lower gear ratio doesn’t come with a Power Handle and the ability to buy the proper Shimano Replacement was HUGE for me, I now have the best of both worlds. The lower gear (higher torque) and the handle to make it count!

Excellent service

I ordered a Power Handle for my tranx 400 on Monday afternoon and received in the mail the next day, Tuesday. Price was better then from shimano and local tackle stores. I live in San Diego.
