ZALDAIN 3D DYNAMICS PERFORMANCE GRIP:
Based on the intense competition in the prestigious B.A.S.S. Elite Series, Chris Zaldain's Zaldain 3D Dynamics aims to create a seamless connection between angler and equipment. The individually crafted carbon fiber handle is designed to fit perfectly into each angler's hands, ensuring a comfortable grip and excellent vibration transmission due to the unique properties of carbon material.
The bronze Meteo color adds weight-saving improvements to the blank construction, thread wrapping method, reel seat, and head locker design. These changes result in a lighter rod, allowing for lighter counterweights to achieve the ideal "Takumi" balance for each application. Even the F6-69X, which is balanced for a tip-up posture for heavy-cover applications, only requires a mere 8g counterweight in the machined metal end balancer. As a nod to this achievement, the previous generation's shining gold end cap emblem has been replaced with an understated "bronze Meteo" finish.
The new technology, developed through the experimental Laiha project, is called 5-D Graphite System. This construction method uses five prepreg patterns, each specifically addressing vertical axis, horizontal axis, oblique axis, elongation, and elasticity, to create a perfected puzzle matrix that maximizes the performance of each blank. With carefully crafted puzzle pieces, this method allows for a seamless fusion of disparate parts, reducing prepreg overlap and material waste while also providing a precise taper and smooth load transition for an unparalleled performance.
Utilizing the MACHINED-ALUMINUM HEAD-LOCKING STRUCTURE from the LAIHA CONCEPT PROJECT, the latest DESTROYER® HEAD LOCKING SYSTEM 3 is designed for optimal production performance. This innovative structure is the lightest among all other DESTROYER models, reducing any potential interference in blank resonance and vibration transmission through the reel, while also showcasing the unique elegance of each rod in the series.
