The Daiwa Seagate Levelwind reels are built for reliable service in fresh or saltwater. A choice of 50 and 60 sizes offer the line capacity needed for Great Lakes style trolling with lead core and copper wire lines.
On the west coast these reels work great for calico bass, yellowtail, seabass, and rockfishing. They are great for new anglers who have trouble with guiding the line while fishing conventional reels. The levelwind puts the line on properly while turning the handle, no more using your thumb.
