JRI Custom Lures JRI-4 Surface Iron Jigs one of the crowd favorites. Measuring in at 7 inches and 4.1 ounces the JRI-4 is a great casting surface iron with a slightly slower/wider kick that the yellowtail just can not resist. Made of high grade aluminum and with a glossy finish.

Retrieve speeds can vary between a slow and medium constant retrieve, dependent on your fishing conditions (current, swell, wind, boat drifting or on anchor). The JRI Custom Lures JRI-4 are a great jig when fish are keyed in on bigger bait such as mackerel or jumbo sardines. If you enjoy throwing the bigger surface irons the JRI-4 would be a jig for you.

Awesome lures. A more consistent tady45.

Works just like a tady45 should. Problem with the tady 45s are consistency. U need to actively search for one that is more curved and offset to get the right action. The JRIs are wayy more consistent straight out the box. If you are ordering online, the JRIs are the way to go. If you’re buying instore and can actually see the lures, maybe a tady45 is more cost efficient.

Crushed it on the JRI 4's Yellow tail

I bought two JRI 4's. One mint in white the other mint. Finally got out and fish them. Second cast on the mint and white got a surface yellow! I really loved the JRI 4 over the JRI 7, (personal preference) because they're a little larger and cast better in a little wind. No place better to buy your tackle then Tackle Express. Website is easy to navigate and purchase without a problem! Shipped next day!
